Can damaged non-stick (telfon) pans be resurfaced?

My co-workers refuse to learn that metal utensils and Teflon don't mix. It is scratched up and chipped. Pan is a Viking 18/10 Stainless, very expensive to replace.

Stop buying teflon pans, use stainless steel.
