Spanish Regents Review Book

Regents exams?

I am in ninth grade and I don't know if i should buy review books or not. I am in ninth grade and on the high honor roll. But i recently took a practice spanish reading comprehension exam and got a 47 on it. Are ninth grade regents exams extremely hard or am I just worried too much. Thanks a lot!

I remember the regents exam. Awful exams. lol. I would really suggest getting the review books. They have those little red books (I think Barrons makes them, but I may be wrong). They are the only reason why I passed the spanish exam (I can't read or speak a word of it). Take the practice test, and then go over what you got wrong. It works! Then take the practice test again (use a different test) to see if you fixed your problem areas. State exams are meant to be hard; the state wants to make sure that schools are up to par. The state wants to have a lot of things on the test, a lot of things that teachers just don't have time to get to. A lot of teachers don't like the regents; I can tell you also, teachers in other states are also not happy with standardized test. As long as you study, however, you should be fine. Good Luck!
