Spanish Penpals

Is it possible to become fluent in French in two years?
I don't mean native fluency, but at the level that I can read a newspaper, and carry an average conversation; under these conditions:
-I'm already fluent in Spanish and Italian.
-Spanish is my mother tongue, but I learned Italian on my own, in about a year.
-I'll be taking French classes, my last two years of high school.(I'm going to be a junior)
-I'll watch movies in french, listen to French music, read in french, write to French penpals, etc...
-I'll study A LOT on my own.
well you have 2 languages closely related to french under your belt already, and that will certainly help a ton.
if you keep up with your studies as you say, you'll have a much better chance to be fluent.
however, the best possible thing you can do is get in and among the language itself. France, or Quebec will help a bunch for that.
I'd say you have a very good chance at becoming very proficient, being able to expand beyond average conversations and reading newspapers.
perhaps find a video blog of a few native french speakers to learn the accent and idioms.
