Here is The Cheap Way To Look Like a Film Star
I had been reading about Lady Gaga, Lindsey Lohan and the others about how they loved their new 3d nail art and looking at the pictures on theb front covers of the magazines, I can see exactly why. I loved them and just had to have it done at all costs.
But therein lies the problem, who can do it properly without having to go on a trip to London?
That's another thing I love about Glasgow and it's a reason to be glad I'm female.
For a small City, we do have a fantastic range of shops, bars and a decent selection of clubs. There's a plethora of hair salons and gyms for us to endure the pain of shedding a few pounds whenever we feel the need, which is not too often in my case, but until recently there was nobody to my knowlege that could do perfect 3d nail art. I know this because I tried to find someone before the latest craze took off and was left disappointed. I did let a local nail technician have a go but it was actually no good, I'd have been better off having my three year old niece having a go instead. I am not blaming this girl because it was an experiment after all and she did warn me that she'd never done it before.
Fortunately we do now have a wonderfully talented Russian lady who has set up a small practice in Uddingston, just 200 yards from the train station, which is rather handy.
Russia do have some of the most talented nail artists around and Anna, our local expert is no exception. An award winning technician, Anna is also an extremely pleasant and thorough professional and well worth looking up.
I decided to have a wedding theme on my nails, maybe not to everyone's taste but since it was my best friend's wedding, I thought she would appreciate the effort and besides, I've wanted to have nail art done for ages.
The care and attention that Anna put into my nails was exceptional and my nails were absolutely perfect as a result. Stunning in fact and completely out there unique.
Her creativity is very impressive which means that every set of nails she does will be unique to you. I had beautiful hearts and wedding rings on one hand plus kissing lips with confetti on the other. Her list of available options goes on and on, it's up to you how much or how little you want. You can keep it subtle or go for a wild look that can't fail to be noticed.
I hasten to add that later on in the evening I was a little embarrased at all the attention I was receiving as a result, after all, I was just the bridesmaid. Nail are really does rock!
