need help about chickens?
ok so i am getting chickens and i want to have chicks. so i was wondering do you have to get th same breed of roster to get chicks the same breed or can you get any kind of roster and pair it up with any breed of hen example: roster is a leghorn and the hen is a russian orloff will the chicks end up being russian orloffs or will they be mixed
No, you don't have to get the same breed of rooster and hens. Their offspring won't be one or the other, they will be mixed breed, a little bit of both.
Chickens have a lot of needs and requirements, particularly chicks, so make sure you do your research really well before you buy any.
