Russian Groups

The Russian language is one of the most widely spread Eurasian languages. It is also one of the remaining three East Slavik languages together with Ukrainian and Belarusian. The strength of the Russian language is not only measured in its steadfast existence. As you can see, the language is used even outside Russia. Since Russia is very much particular of its people's knowledge science and technology, in fact its curricula are strongly focusing on that, as a reflection, about a quarter of the world's scientific literature are written and recorded in the Russian language. The language is also one of the six languages considered officially by the United Nations.
The strong influence of the language is not apart from the Soviet Union's being a superpower. It holds a strong influence in the world political arena and also in the communications system whether that is for the air and space programs or for broadcasting systems.
There is one significant and interesting information about the Russian language. It is mutually intelligible to many dialects such as the Surzhyk in East Ukraine and Trasianka in Belarus. Most of the time these dialects are mixed with the original Russian language; many say that this becomes the foundation of the Modern Russian language that is still existing today.
Some people however are hesitant to learn the language as it had been considered by the Defense Language Institute in California as a level three difficult language to learn. It is expected that anyone who would like to learn the language would need 780 hours of exposure to instructional media to learn the language. It is also considered as a really difficult language to learn by the American intelligence community but at the same time it is crucial to government policies. You must not forget that during the reign of the Soviet Union when there were several dialects of ethnic groups that are being used, but it's the Russian language that unifies all the countries under the Soviet Union; thus it gained its recognition and superior status. After 1991 when the Soviet Union was toppled, many of the independent states resorted to using their own native languages which somehow diminished the status of the Russian language but surprisingly it still continues to pervade some of these European countries as the language of discourse.
In Estonia for example a considerable 67 plus percent of people are Russian-speaking. In Latvia as well, it has been debated strongly why the Latvia language is used in the classroom and considered official language when one-third of the population are Russians. So much for being a difficult language to learn. There is something about not making it easy to learn that makes it superior that without not much to do people would like to crown it with glory.
Such is the prestige and the elegance you can have with learning the Russian language. You can have the best experience of learning it through language learning audio programs you can get online. Find out why it is great.

Led Zeppelin $14.29 Exclamations of religious awe are in order. Legendary and long sought-after, this live Led Zeppelin collection is nothing less than the rock music equivalent of the Holy Grail. Quite simply, this is what all the fuss was about. Given that they were the biggest band in the world, Zeppelin were notoriously camera-shy in their heyday. Their official filmic legacy until now has been just the fasc... |

Saint [VHS] $1.00 Lightly enjoyable but a disappointment in the context of author Leslie Charteris's popular character, the Saint--who has been played by several actors, most notably George Sanders--this 1997 film is more in keeping with the requirements of high-octane contemporary action than it is the requirements of a particular legacy. Val Kilmer plays Simon Templar, the mercenary spy, who is hired to steal a f... |
