Russian Accent
How to speak in a Russian Accent by Friday?
I need to be able to speak in a Russian accent, but I just can't learn it! Can someone help me????
Better idea . . . learn Russian, forget English, then relean English and Zer you weeel xave aksent in English Language!
Seriously, I would look into not only how they pronounce the vowels and consonants, b/c that's easy, but what gives someone a real accent is INTONATION and PITCH.

It will give you an idea about intonation. This is why Russians sound "rude" in english .. . their intonation is different.
Also, keep in mind that there is none of the following letters in Russian so try to speak without them for a day :
a an the is am are
So you might say
"This apple" (Well more like Zis Apel)
when you really mean "this is an apple"
Make your L's dark . . . . .
Say BULL
Say Lick
Notice how the L in BULL is "DARK" that's what linguists call it, and the other, in lick or leaf, is light. So Darken your L's
ROLL your RRRRRs like in Spanish.
and the letter H try to pronounce it like the Arabic Kh, or Ch in Lochness, or Ch in German Bach
(let's represent this new sound of H with an X - like in russian)
so now say :
I xav karrrrr =)
so start with the small stuff and before you know it, you will sound like true Komrad who eat turnips for become strong!
