Enjoying Spain’s Colorful and Intricate Culture

Spain is a great place to visit for a vacation because of the many things it offers for people with different interests; Spain is more than happy to provide so much in many areas like culinary culture, art, music, dance, architecture, and so much more. If you’re an art aficionado, Spain has many respected and popular museums in all the countries of Europe; you can also enjoy the culture music and dance that is ultimately Spanish. People who want to soak in Spain’s art scene will find that the architecture and art collection of Spain’s museums are very impressive and as diverse as the cultural influences that outlined Spain.

Architecture is one of the areas that Spain can be truly proud of and is part of the legacy of Spanish and non-Spanish architects all over the world. This museum was a product of the creativeness of Frank Gehry, a Canadian architect. It’s entitled to be enlisted to the number of the finest examples of post-structuralist architecture where it defies the classical rules of building an edifice; the movement and shapes of the building set the tone for many modernist architectural works many years after.

Another favorite hotspot for travellers is the Guell Park which was commissioned by Eusebi Guell with the purpose of providing a stylish park exclusively for the dignified and noble families in Barcelona. This park is quite unique because it is the harmonious mixture of the beauty of nature and man’s talents; Parc Guell is filled with architectural artwork that is both compelling and non-intrusive of nature’s beauty. What’s more remarkable than the pieces of art that describes the area is that the architecture seems to be dancing and blending with nature in that it accommodates the shape of trees, bodies of water, even the contour of the land in a very unpretentious and exquisite way that is definitive of the style of its creator, Antonio Gaudi.

Beachgoers may also find the beaches of Spain to be very beautiful and pristine, especially the ones in Castel d’Aro which is a beachfront community very near the Mediterranean Sea. The Prado Museum was partly built by Juan de Villanueva who was one of the favorite architects of Carlos III. The geographical makeup of Spain is such that one can enjoy extremely different climates in different parts of the country; this could be particularly good if you prefer a specific kind of climate while visiting.

Most people in Spain are coversant in English, making it easier for tourists to interact with the locals and to truly enjoy their vacation; after all, part of the pleasure of shopping is haggling with the vendors, and the best way to do that is to ask in their native tongue. Providentially, the internet offers way for you to enjoy language courses from your home; a swift Internet search can take you to sites like that of Rocket Spanish; just sign up and you’re good to go. Rocket Spanish lessons is an excellent tool that can aid you in learning to speak Spanish. Discover the right phrases used in asking for directions, asking for help, and other questions that you really should know how to ask, as well as other things you learn for fun, like haggling in the sidewalk markets.

Be sure to have a record book of emergency numbers that people should reach in case you met any untoward incidents while you are in Spain, and if possible, write it instead of just saving it in your phone. Taking such simple precautions can really save your life while in a totally different place.

Here are three films that couldn't and wouldn't have been made at any other time. In the early 1930s, a national mood of shock over the stock market crash and impatience with Prohibition licen...
