Italian Jasmine
Dinner Menu for Valentines Day with my Husband!?
Hello!
Ok so I decided this year to cook a nice dinner for Valentines Day and get flowers and candles and just make the house romantic.
Here is what I have on the dinner menu so far:
--Italian Bread
--Salad
--Garlic Steak
--Baked Potato
--Cheesy Cauliflower Head
Any ideas on what I can add to that dinner that might work, or do you feel the dinner doesn't work well together? Just to give you an idea normally my husband likes Jasmine Rice, Black or Pinto Bean, Some type of a meat and some type of veggies for dinner. He is Brasilian so I'm sad to say that Rice and Beans is a staple in our house. So I would prefer to not make traditional Jasmine rice and beans, any idea on a twist?
Any ideas would help, even if you want to scratch my menu and give me an all new one!

Oh yes and I know that Cheesy Cauliflower Head sounds weird but that is a must with the menu, we had it at Christmas with my family and my husband and I loved it and haven't had it since.
I think this menu sounds fabulous! I would not add any more dishes to this main menu. To bump it up a notch - lightly spread butter over the Italian loaf bread and sprinkle Italian Seasoning or herbs of your choice over the butter, then broil the bread to toast it. Be careful to keep a close eye on the bread because it will burn super fast. Search footnetwork.com for a stuffed baked potato recipe. Keep the salad simple because you already have lots of flavor going on in the other dishes. Kraft makes a Honey Dijon Dressing that compliments beef wonderfully. Then just pick out a simple chocolate dessert to compliment your menu. Suggestion: mini molten lava cakes?
