Miss USA Pole Dancing - Nothing Here Worth Fighting Over
Miss USA was caught pole dancing before receiving her crown, says CBS News. Although some people are finding this to be entirely harmless, others who were already upset about the bikini and lingerie shots are expressing their anger. "Mojo in the Morning", a Detroit morning radio program, posted images of the Lebanese beauty queen after its 2007 "Stripper 101" contest. The contest involved fully clothed females, and only females were in attendance, according to the radio program. Photos revealed Rima Fakih -- who reportedly won the contest -- fully clothed, but with cash stuffed into her bra. Good thing the Muslim woman did not go to a payday lender, for the Muslim faith strictly prohibits paying of interest.

Miss USA Rima Fakih pole dancing: 'All in good fun'
That's how the "Mojo in the Morning" crew characterized Miss USA pole dancing. The Miss USA organization did follow up for more details with the radio station, but it did not reveal whether Rima Fakih's title would be affected by the pole dancing. As reported by TMZ, the beauty queen apparently earned numerous prizes for her victory, including "jewelry, gift cards, adult toys and a stripper pole for home use." The corporate owner of Miss Universe, Donald Trump, initially gave the green light for lingerie photos -- photos taken outside the Miss USA contest -- but he has not yet been reached for comments regarding Miss USA pole dancing.
Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih -- the poster child for the "Islamo-pandering climate?"
That is exactly what Debbie Schlussel is claiming in her blog. Her allegations center on the rumor that Rima Fakih was financially backed by alleged Islamic terrorist Imad Hamad, and that the Miss USA 2010 victory for Rima Fakih was somehow fixed. Of course, one look at Schlussel's scathing expose on the matter reveals an obviously Photoshopped picture of Mr. Hamad, so Schlussel's credibility begins to fly right out the window. Rima Fakih's Miss USA victory, according to what Middle East Forum Director Daniel Pipes believes, is "an odd form of affirmative action," which could also point towards the overall view of the same conservatives who are likely complaining over Miss USA pole dancing.
Perhaps Rima Fakih won Miss USA because she's beautiful, talented and well-spoken? Just something for consideration.
