Islamic Love Poetry
Good modern Arabic poetry?
(Posted this in two places - looking for hits - need info)
A former professor of mine was asking me today if I could find him some good modern Arabic poetry. I'm lost. I don't know of much other than Gibran who dates before the Islamic area that are worth looking at.
And please, for the love of COD don't say Rumi.
And - if you suggest an author please make him be alive, and not sentimental, and preferably not religious.

who's Gibran you are talking about was a poetry and live before the islamic area?? i don't know a poetry under this name, i just know a poetry his name gibran khalel gibran but he was living in islamic area جبران خليل جبران , anyway
