Yes, it's a mishmash of Jewish/Christian scripture, as is most of Islamic belief. Considering that I do not know where in the Koran you found that, I cannot comment directly, but in the new testament it states:

Mat 6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
