Asian Vehicles: Auto Producers To Watch
The Asian automobile manufacturing market is much broader than many American consumers understand it to be. Proton -- Proton Holdings, the mum or dad corporation of Proton Motors, is the most important manufacturer of autos in Malaysia. Volkswagen and Proton signed a strategic partnership settlement in October 2004 whereby Volkswagen automobiles could be constructed on Proton meeting strains beginning in 2006.
