Early morning atmosphere and the new ball advantage can help them. SL do have batsmen who can score really big. If SL takes a 1st innings lead of say 150 runs, can they not upstage India even from this position? Indian bowling is going to struggle on this pitch, especially as SL will be batting on the 2nd and 3rd days!!
Do please feel free to express your opinion either way. I believe anything is still possible in this game.... in any case that's what cricket is all about.
It all depends on Dravid, If Srilanka can clean him up early then they should be able to finish the inning off for less than 450, From there, as you pointed out. There is plenty of time to set a total and bowl India out again, But if India post 550+ then the best Srilanka can hope for will be a draw.
