I am residing in ITALY ,florence,i have to clarify one thing about indian embassy,ROME?
for the purpose of taking a housing loan from india I need tobe counter sign a translated salary certificate from Indian embassy,Rome but they are telling that service they cant do?but the bank is telling that all embassies are doing this attestation,WHY they are telling like this?
As I recall you can go to any tribunale (law court) and ask in the cancelleria what the procedure is for getting a sworn translation. You do the translation yourself but once all the stamps (bolli) go on it, it looks pretty impressive and should suffice for all legal purposes, including, I would have thought, an embassy.
