Monday's question***Greece section's regulars please tell me what do you like about American culture?

Ok i just thought make a Monday question every week for a foreign country and their culture!
I say Regulars of the section, but of course anyone can answer (except the trolls)
I start with USA name me 3-5 things you like or love about American culture or country! Please fellow Greeks or non Greeks, let's keep it clean and mention only the things we like,if you don't like nothing about a country just do not answer it!
let's not do what trolls do in here against our country!

Ok my top 5 about USA
1)TV series,Lost,Prison break etc etc they rule lol
2)Coca Cola and BURGERS (even though originally they are from Germany) i am addicted to them, thank God my great metabolism lol
3)American music (not all of course) and many American artists!
4)Jeansssssssssssssssss,come on we all wear them lol
5)American women, like a true Mediterranean lover i have a big past with them lol........

Your turn now!!

1) Cities -in this order : Boston (the best by far! -I trained and lived there -very smart people and the most European of all US Cities), New York (the buzz and being able to stay up all night and still get food)San Francisco, Chicago and San Diego

2) Coca Cola

3) Restaurants, the service and portion sizes! I also love McDonalds I'm ashamed to say.

4) Brands - Abercrombie & Fitch & especially the aftershave "Fierce", Crew Clothing (spent a fortune there in the summer), Ralph Lauren especially the bed linen and comforters-really cheap over there compared to the UK and Starbucks coffee shops which are all over the UK too. Ooooh- the lemon and poppy seed muffins with icing..... We don't make good coffee in the UK so all these new coffee chains have saved us!

5) Disney films - grew up with them but also good new ones like the Lion King and Toy Story.

6) Shopping Malls

7) Jazz music.

8)Favourite US film - the Shawshank Redemption for the music, the story and uplifting ending.

KDLB- thanks so much for your music dedication in case you missed my response yesterday. XX

The Lives of the Muses: Nine Women & the Artists They Inspired

$3.95

In The Lives of the Muses, Francine Prose writes a spirited and enlightening exposé of nine women who fired the imaginations of some of the most inimitable artists and thinkers of the 19th and 20th centuries. With wicked wit, she shows how these women were both exemplars of their times and iconoclasts struggling to assert their own identity within the unconventional relationships they formed with...

Naked Men : Pioneering Male Nudes 1935-1955

This extraordinary book documents a fascinating moment in the history of American culture--a period in the 1930's, 40's, and 50's that gave birth to new notions of male beauty and desire, and to a new type of male icon. Long before Stonewall and the gay pride movement, there was a small group of daring men--both photographers and the models who sat for them--who helped pave the way for male sexual...

Moved by Love: Inspired Artists and Deviant Women in Eighteenth-Century France

$22.50

In eighteenth-century France, the ability to lose oneself in a character or scene marked both great artists and ideal spectators. Yet it was thought this same passionate enthusiasm, if taken to unreasonable extremes, could also lead to sexual deviance, mental illness—even death. Women and artists were seen as especially susceptible to these negative consequences of creative enthusiasm, and wo...
