One music and dance art form that is iconic of the Spanish practice is the Flamenco; in fact, a lot of people often mistake it for Spain’s national dance. However, Flamenco is only popular in one region; Flamenco originated in Andalusia, an autonomous community in Spain and considered as the second largest in terms of land area in Spain. Researchers, historians and experts are still discussing and studying to determine the exact history and origin of Flamenco; how Flamenco got its name is still unclear.
