Meeting Russian women for dating and marriage is something many men wish to do because women at the Russian dating agencies are incredibly beautiful and they tend to be much nicer people than women from many other cultures. Online dating scammers take advantage of this by creating fake profiles of Russian girls. Of course one of the easiest ways to avoid these scam dating profiles is to make sure you only deal with and join a 100% legitimate Russian dating site. Here are two simple tests you can perform so you can immediately tell that a Russian woman's profile is legitimate and not a scam.
- First Russian dating scammer test - When you start talking to a Russian woman it obviously is going to start out as e-mails. Look at the e-mail address that the e-mail is from in the  From: field. Now look at the end of one of her first e-mails. If she tells you to reply to a different e-mail address that could be a red flag. Of course if the reply e-mail address in the From: field Is from the Russian dating website then that just means She is e-mailing you through the dating site still for her own security. This by itself does not necessarily mean anything simply because a real Russian woman who is extremely attractive is obviously going to be getting tons of e-mails every day. Most of the guys who e-mail her she is not going to be interested in. So to protect her privacy she would most likely have a second private e-mail address that she would use the e-mail only the guys she is interested in. If she fails the second test As the saying goes 'buyer beware' (or dater beware in this case)
- Here is a second test for filtering out a fake Russian profile - In communicating with the Russian girls find out the general location of where she lives like what town she lives in. Confirm that is where she is sending and receiving e-mails with you from. Every e-mail has an originating IP address. This is the Internet address which identifies the general location of where the e-mail came from. In order to find this you have to configure your e-mail client to view full headers. The exact procedure varies from client to client here are a few examples. In Yahoo Mail when you are Viewing the actual message from the Russian woman in the very lower right hand corner there will be a link that says 'Full Headers'. In Outlook express click menu File>Properties. When you view the full header from an e-mail and message from the Russian girl you will see what looks like a lot of encrypted garble. The line you are looking for will look like  this - Received:  or Received From: - which will be followed by a set of four numbers separated by a period. For example - Received From: 23.123.44.244 - Make a note of that number, maybe copy and paste it in Notepad. then go to this web address which traces IP addresses - ip-adress.com/ip_tracer/ - and enter that IP address that was at the received from line in your e-mail from her.
As mentioned earlier your first line of defense to making sure you are dealing with legitimate and real Russian women is to deal with legitimate and real Russian dating sites.
