Two aid workers held hostage in Darfur were freed Thursday after three weeks in captivity. The two women, Stephanie Jodoin, of Canada, and Claire Dubois, of France, were captured on April 4 in Darfur and released on Wednesday. 13 kidnappers traveling in two vehicles and on a camel seized the hostages and took them to an area about 100 kilometers east of the town of al-Genaina in west Darfur.

Les deux femmes, Stéphanie Jodoin, du Canada, et Claire Dubois, de France, ont été capturées le 4 avril à Darfour et relachées mercredi. 13 ravisseurs voyageant dans deux véhicules et sur un chameau ont pris les femmes en otage et les ont emmenées dans une région environ 100 kilomètres à l'est de la ville d'al-Genaina, dans la partie ouest de Darfour.
