Travelling By Train - Where Would You Like To Go?

When it comes to travelling from one point to another, doing so by train really is a special way of making the journey; it's not just another way of getting to your final destination. Travelling by train is such a comforting way of travelling that oftentimes many people feel a tad disappointed when their journey actually comes to an end. Nowadays, because the country is directly connected to the rail network of Europe, the sort of journeys we can undertake by train encompasses a plethora of possibilities. So what destination tickles your fancy if going by train?

How about hopping over to France and visiting Paris? Making this journey today only takes about three hours once the train has been boarded at Waterloo in London. To complete this trip, you have to go through the Channel Tunnel, under the English Channel, in trains that are luxury personified. Why go through all the stress related with air travel when you can make this journey in the comfort of a great train? Just thinking about the time it takes to actually get to an airport, as long as all the waiting around involved, making the trip by rail make so much more sense. Train stations are usually a lot more conveniently situated in cities than airports.

This is not to say the rest of Europe doesn't have any nice locations to go to, it's just Paris is an extremely popular destination. Within Europe you have endless possibilities by rail and the only limitation will be the amount of time you have to spare. You don't even have to stop at Europe. You can even travel on to Russia, making use of the Trans-Siberian Express. From there you might want to travel even further by hopping on the Orient Express. Only your imagination can limit the scope of potential rail travel.

Tickets for England, Eurotunnel tickets and London tickets (billet eurotunnel) are extremely important when visiting the UK (voyage angleterre). And then you would have to start planning for a stay in an English hotel (h´tel angleterre)
